What is the native range of this plant?[edit]

Can someone show where this plant normally grow? I'm interested in the history, and I have indication that this plant was also grown in the middle east, possibly in Asia Minor as well. 98.247.77.63 (talk) 02:19, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

They grow in moist forests and shady places near rain-forests in Indian subcontinent and in China. Difficult to cultivate; but possible. J e e 13:07, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
