Uhh... Recipe?[edit]

Pardon me; I may just be unfamiliar with the software... but is this "rake recipe" supposed to be here? //brian.recchia (talk) 07:26, 2 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I would support having that last recipe removed because it does not appear to be a useful reminder. Also, for newcomers, it would only distract someone who is unsure of whether "puts" should be overshadowed, whether a new namespace is important, and whether the group of tasks should be subtasks. A well-described task example above the advanced rules section would be more suitable. --Sbluen (talk) 22:10, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Similarities[edit]

Surely the analogies would also be with Ant and Maven - build systems coming from the language community or oriented towards the needs of building a certain source language ... 195.59.147.60 (talk) 10:19, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Quality[edit]

This Page has now several links to pages from the Rake-project itself. So why are there boxes for Unreferenced and Notability? Should they be removed?--Karl Brodowsky (talk) 18:52, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

References using anchors like http://docs.seattlerb.org/rake/doc/rakefile_rdoc.html#label-Advanced+Rules would be more useful. --Sbluen (talk) 22:12, 28 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Usefulness of "Examples" section[edit]

I doubt the usefulness of the "Examples" section, and I do not think that it is following WP:NOT (specifically WP:NOTGUIDE.) A more useful section would be one explaining the syntax used in rakefiles, but even that is questionable as per WP:NOTGUIDE. — Alpine0x37 (talk) 02:25, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
