Original location[edit]

There is a discrepancy with the Establishment section of the page as presently written. In the English edition (1984) of The Chronicle of the Łódź Ghetto 1941-1944, editor Lucjan Dobroczycki writes in a footnote (No. 78) to the entry of July 25, 1941 (p.66):

After occupying the city in September 1939, the Germans formed a torture prison and later a penal camp (Straflager), famous for their refined methods of torturing and tormenting prisoners, in Radogoszcz, a northern suburb of Łódź, first in the former textile factory and brick works belonging to Michał Glaser and later moving to Samuel Abbe's much larger factory (both the former and the latter were Jewish properties). The prison in Radogoszcz functioned until January 18, 1945, almost to the very end of the German occupation of Łódź.

An inline citation would be required from the source reference, otherwise the text needs editing to conform with Dobroczycki. -- Deborahjay (talk) 09:33, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
