Suggested addition[edit]

I'd like to suggest the following addition. As I don't have a source (though one I think can be found), I don't feel comfortable putting it into the articlespace yet. But here is the suggested addition as a second paragraph of "Archive":

International interest in accessing the online archive increased in 2006 with the launch of the ITV TV series Victoria when the show's lead actress, Jenna Coleman and writer Daisy Goodwin, mentioned during British and North American promotional appearances that the diaries were available for free online; although this was true for those residing in the U.K., users attempting to access the diaries from outside the U.K. found access restricted to researchers only, and for a fee.

Part of this is explained rather more accurately in "External links". They only went online (complete) in 2012, & were free globally for a while. Johnbod (talk) 17:26, 7 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
