Inventor[edit]

It became technically feasible in the mid 1970s - It was invented by engineer J. T. Murasko of UK radiotelephone manufacturer Dymar Electronics.

It was in use by Lancashire Constabulary in 1953? [1]

logic[edit]

I was searching for quasi-synchronous logic and found this article. In editing asynchronous logic, and a suggestion for merging with synchronous logic, realized that there could be something in between. Commonly this is asynchronous blocks in an otherwise synchronous system, but could also be the other way around. Also, it might apply to some digital communications systems.
