Lion Analogy[edit]

The lion analogy in the opening paragraph seemed odd and awkward, but is drawn from the conclusions section of Tikhonenkov, et al 2022: "Despite their diversity and global distribution, Provora are numerically rare, but as eukaryovorous predators, their rarity relative to other microbes is not surprising and does not indicate a lack of ecological impact any more than a lion’s rarity compared to wildebeest does." I was tempted to remove it as odd, so would't want anyone else to make a similar mistake. Rorybowman (talk) 07:18, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
