Fair use rationale for Image:Helenamambo.jpg[edit]

Image:Helenamambo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:12, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Protereotita probably did not sell 100,000 copies[edit]

Firstly, I'd like to know if anyone has the chart peaks for the original album and the mambo! edition? Although in general the album peaked at number 1 it should be mentioned that only the euro edit peaked there and was her first number one album. Also, the original album was not that big of a success, and as I've put in a link, you can see that reviews were mixed. Also, don't think it sold 100,000 copies, at one point it said 80,000 and 100 worldwide, then 90, no 100! Since the euro edit, released in may, was her first platinum, the album was awarded double platinum in early 2006 I believe, (the mambo edit came out in late nov. according to article). Anyway, I thought that IFPI was just being more lenient lately but it turns out that as of Jan. 2006 gold = 15,000 and platinum = 30,000. From 1992 - 2005 it was 20 and 40 000. Before that it was 25,000 and 50,000 and even more before that (which is why so many of the older singers have only been certified for gold or platinum but have huge overall sales). Thus, if it was certified in 2006 for 2P, sales should be closer to around 60,000, which is a number I can actually recall hearing a while ago. Anything of 90,000 would be a 3x platinum album, which it isn't; it would have only been certified platinum any other year. GreekStar12 (talk) 21:35, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

We try not to mention sales numbers at all without a source. I believe IFPI lowered the thresholds again this month, thought I can't remember what the new numbers were. Grk1011/Stephen (talk) 21:40, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I don't really care if the numbers are sourced or completely unmentioned, but these fake ones keep appearing on this page. If IFPI lowered the thresholds again then that's just sad; usually when the population grows the thresholds don't go down. Anyway, it's hard to find sales sources for Greek albums, so I think it is okay to just mention the level of sales needed for that certification. The point is that if it was certified in 06, it was certified for 60,000 copies, not 80,000, which makes it closer to the sales of her other albums. Recent US Itunes Release[edit]

This album was released in the itunes store U.S. with all the traits of the international release with the same picture, title, and most of the songs. Should this be added? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Krasi183 (talkcontribs) 21:01, 16 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
