Decreasing peak urinary flow?[edit]

"Results show that PAE decreases prostate gland size, prostate specific antigen level, peak urinary flow, post-void residual, and subject urinary symptoms" [my emphasis] I understand decreased peak urinary flow is bad while all other parameters listed would be an improvement if decreased. The link given mentions Qmax (that's the peak urinary flow, right?) having significantly improved (P < 0.05) so the article here is incorrect? Treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms[edit]

In partnership with the Hospital Italiano in Buenos Aires, I updated the treatment section of this page to include the results of a Cochrane systematic review of prostatic arterial embolization and how it compares to transurethral resection surgery. - Organization of the article I added a section on benefits and removed the sentence and reference of the outdated systematic review, considering that the most recent editor added a Cochrane review / Cochrane-Wikipedia Initiative Jvaf85 (talk) 14:04, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

- Enhancing clarity of comparison in review I altered the wording of the Benefits section to increase the clarity of the fact that the Cochrane review was a comparison between PAE and transurethral resection of the prostate. I also moved a sentence on the potential adverse effects identified by this study to the Harms section to fit with the flow of the page and increase readability. --Gsom12812 (talk) 17:10, 15 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
