Merger[edit]

I beleive that FKBP and Prolyl isomerase articles are essentially describing the same concept/entity and that a single merged article would be beneficial. Alexbateman (talk) 11:55, 25 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Proteins with prolyl isomerase activity include cyclophilin, FKBPs, and parvulin. Hence I think the prolyl isomerase article should concentrate on the reaction while the FKBP artilce concentrates on the family of sequence and structurally related proteins.
