Bad info about Wii[edit]

I have this game for the Wii and I can verify that a lot of the info on this page is not true. For example on the page it says "Slovenia only appear in the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions of the game." Uhm, Slovenia are in my game too!

Also I don't understand the team list, it has a bunch of "unplayable teams"... I can play as several of those on my game... Montenegro, Morocco, Guinea, Mali, Senegal, Angola, Honduras, Trinidad & Tobago, Bolivia, Venezuela, Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Uzbekistan, Qatar, Thailand, and Syria are all playable on the Wii! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.181.195.25 (talk) 19:52, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Unlicenced Red Star[edit]

Red Star Belgrade are actually called "FK CRVENA ZVEZDA" in-game and are unlicenced, please correct this on the main page. I have added this info to the "Fake Names" section below. Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Estebanrey (talkcontribs) 20:39, 30 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

National Teams[edit]

The list for the national teams is wrong. There are teams from every continent which are missing... Slovenia and Montenegro from Europe, Honduras and Trinidad & Tobago from North America, Bolivia and Venezuela from South America, Angola, Morocco, and Togo from Africa, as well as half of the new Asian teams... Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, North Korea, Oman, Qatar, Syria, and Uzbekistan. Please add these teams to the list!

"Unlicenced" Other Leagues Teams[edit]

The teams in the Other Leagues that have funny names like "Punoichongaux" and "Huerpojauza" are FICTIONAL teams. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.13.146.33 (talk) 18:06, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mistakes[edit]

Edit Psp release date. It is supposed to come out on November(5th, according to most sites), not today(23rd of October)--Shirgho (talk) 06:19, 22 October 2009 (UTC).[reply]
PLEASE EDIT: There are few mistakes in the list of teams: Morocco was in PES 4 (no new team then), Sparta Prague was last time at PES 6 Podzimator (talk) 17:38, 26 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for pointing it out, it's been edited. Woolwich (talk) 11:31, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Found two more mistakes - Lokomotiv Moscow (PES4)and Wisla Krakow (PES2008) are not new to the PES2010, ther're making re-appearance to the series. Podzimator (talk) 09:51, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you again, you've been a big help. :) Woolwich (talk) 11:51, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There are a need to refresh the data from the critics reception, as well as creating a new text there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Johntonx (talkcontribs) 02:00, 28 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

PLEASE EDIT: NAME, the person who edited the name, to Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 but fifa is better should be punished...seems a total breach of protection. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Underground235 (talkcontribs) 16:24, 6 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

PLEASE EDIT: update version 1.04 shows bias and advertisement to konami in the line "a new boot design will even be included! The latest download demonstrates Konami's continuing commitment to fans of PES 2010. Further exciting downloadable content are scheduled for release over the coming months." should be changed to a sentence without exclamation mark and the second sentence isn't needed at all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Currymeister (talkcontribs) 00:53, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Countries[edit]

They would need to fix computers that are for exhibition game and not adding to that are also for glass. Alexis Damián Rossi (talk) 21:16, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

World Cup Special Expansion[edit]

Where are the sites that talks about that expansion mentioned in song list? I can't find anything on the web —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.60.45.201 (talk) 04:26, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Giuseppe Meazza and San Siro...[edit]

...are the same stadium (used by F.C. Internazionale and A.C. Milan). --83.211.145.2 (talk) 14:49, 29 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cuz it's really one stadium but every team call it a name. It's one stadium actually Milan call it San siro and inter call it Giuseppe maezza Hatimpes2010 (talk) 23:44, 31 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

NA Release Date[edit]

The NA release date on this page is wrong. The exact date has yet to be announced and it is currently listed simply as quarter 1 of 2010 on the reference provided and the Konami website doesn't even list a PC release at all. What gives? http://www.konami.com/games/pes/

Also, IGN.com lists it as TBA 2010 http://pc.ign.com/objects/143/14338556.html Someone fix this, please. Hazelburr (talk) 07:50, 11 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So apparently nobody cares that the information on this page is wrong? The PC version of this game was not released in NA. If you are going to lock a page, you have to be willing to check the discussion regularly. Hazelburr (talk) 20:22, 10 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Generic teams[edit]

Can anyone tell me if the PS2 version of the game contains the blank 'generic' teams too. I know they were present back in PES6 but weren't in 2009 Kevinoco (talk) 17:13, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Since when has Australia been in Asia???[edit]

Not entirely accurate country listings... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 115.64.18.251 (talk) 11:53, 30 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Answer:* Australia has been "in" Asia since the 2006 World Cup ended... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 136.181.195.25 (talk) 19:48, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Accurate Ratings??[edit]

I just checked IGN and I saw that fifa 10 received a 7.7 rating for PS3 and XBOX 360 and a 8.1 for Wii. http://search.ign.com/product?query=pro+evolution+soccer+2010 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.5.241.139 (talk) 12:28, 30 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Blue bar[edit]

Anybody knows what's the meaning of the blue bar on the substitute menu? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 132.69.231.71 (talk) 11:56, 17 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not the latest[edit]

It says in the lead that its the latest installment, which is false, it's the PES 11 which is the latest. And why is this article locked for editing? Surely it can't be that many cases of vandalism..? 85.165.198.231 (talk) 20:58, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request from Deano791, 21 March 2011[edit]

{{edit semi-protected}} Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 (officially abbreviated as PES 2010 and known as World Soccer: Winning Eleven 2010 in Japan) is the 9th installment in the Pro Evolution Soccer series. Deano791 (talk) 20:21, 21 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reason: Pro Evolution 2011 is now the latest game in the PES series.
