Title[edit]

As with other members of the former Greek royal family, the article title should include "of Denmark" (see his sister, Princess Theodora of Greece and Denmark, for example). -- Willthacheerleader18 (talk) 14:05, 18 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Title and honours[edit]

Greece is a parliamentary representative democratic republic, where the President of Greece is the head of state and the Prime Minister of Greece is the head of government. In 1974, the democratically elected Prime Minister, Konstantinos Karamanlis, called a referendum which abolished the Monarchy.

Philippos was born 15 years after the abovementioned referendum and the abolition of Monarchy in Greece, so he holds no title. The article 4 of Greek Constitution forbids titles of nobility.

Also, he was never awarded with a medal or an honour from Hellenic Republic, thus the section is misleading. Takis o flou (talk) 07:22, 6 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I'm ~90% sure this is everything relevant from the french article.

The 1992 visit description had some weird political subtext & I don't think the football clubs he supports are worth mentioning in an article this short, especially just as trivia. I don't think the Big Brother appearance and tabloid lists clear the gossip bar on english wikipedia.

Also, I'm pretty sure the English article is now larger by byte-size and information compared to the French one. Going to delete the template. One Faraway (talk) 03:23, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
