Why are there no post horns used to signal the mail today? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Simonsa (talkcontribs)

Race and Hunt[edit]

Is this the same horn that is used to signal the start of a race or hunt? - KitchM (talk) 22:12, 5 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Incomplete?[edit]

The article is tagged as incomplete, and it says to see the talk page. But there's nothing here. If you're going to claim that the article is incomplete, back up the claim. Otherwise, I will delete the tag. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.68.134.1 (talk) 20:16, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Image overload?[edit]

I think there are too many image thumbs on this page, at least alongside the text. as the companies with a post horn in their logo are listed, I think it would make more sense to put the graphic representations of post horns (namely, File:Posthorn alt-neu.jpg, File:Posthorn.jpg, and File:MutedPosthorn.png) in their own "Gallery" section, showing the use of post horns as a symbol of postal services/etc. Meanwhile, the images of actual post horns could be left where they are to illustrate the appearance of the horn itself. ~ Boomur [talk] 15:27, 11 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
