Wiki Education assignment: 2021-22 TCOM WikiMed Directed Studies[edit]

This article was the subject of a Wiki Education Foundation-supported course assignment, between 28 February 2022 and 25 March 2022. Further details are available on the course page. Student editor(s): Amit.agg318 (article contribs). Peer reviewers: Jsinghal.

Workplan: For my workplan, these are my overall goals: I plan to expand the page based on the current information but add much organization. I want to continue the simplicity of the current knowledge regarding the post-anesthetic care unit (PACU), but at the same time, expand on the brief summary by adding different locations, different providers, and adding more information about the assessments of patients. I will be maintaining the neutrality of the article by utilizing sources that are open to the public and adding objective information in an organized fashion. The information will be easy to understand, in order for the public with multiple education levels to be able to understand. I will also be adding more images and media, examples including a vitals monitor, standardized handoff forms, and different methods of delivering oxygen utilized in the PACU. Finally, I will be utilizing more resources, given that this article only has 1. I will be utilizing information made available by the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Association of Nurse Anesthetists, and ScienceDirect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Amit.agg318 (talkcontribs) 16:18, 5 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
