Did You Know
A fact from this article appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the "Did you know?" column on March 16, 2008.
The text of the entry was: Did you know ...that Senegalese hip hop group Positive Black Soul's name abbreviation, PBS, is a play on that of the Parti Démocratique Sénégalais, PDS?

GAN on hold[edit]

  • Ref 1 - allmusic and All Music Guide are the same thing; say it once
  • "For other uses of "PBS", see PBS (disambiguation)." - PBS points elsewhere, so you don't need this
  • Image shows 3 members of a 2 member band?
  • Is the History section image needed?
  • "Two years later, in 1994" - 1992 + 2 is 1994. We don't need to be told that!
  • "to participate in the country's government and vote in elections" - is voting compulsory? If not, it might be worth mentioning
  • "been featured prominently:" - one song isn't really prominent
    • All done, noted in caption that the image shows a guest as well. Thankz for another review. --Kakofonous (talk) 21:16, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Who's in the picture[edit]

Also, who's who in the picture? Which is Awadi, Duggy T? --Knulclunk (talk) 02:31, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sadly, I'm not sure. The image description page (as I see you've noted) does not have any info about who's who, and I haven't come across anything that identifies the members by name in other photographs. --Kakofonous (talk) 02:39, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I'm pretty sure its Amadou Barry center and Awadi right. I don't know who's on the left. But I'd rather not guess it. --Knulclunk (talk) 05:57, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PBS or PBS Radikal?[edit]

It should be noted somewhere in this article that the actual Positive Black Soul no longer exist and that the group is now called Positive Black Soul Radikal (PBS Radikal) since about 2004. Duggy Tee, one of the founding members of the original PBS, is less active with PBS Radikal, having pursued a solo career. An entry for PBS Radikal directing to this page should be created.
