Music videos[edit]

If someone could make a music videos section, that'd be greatly appreciated. -- AlexanderHovanec (talk) 16:20, 20 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

AFD results and consensus on unreleased material[edit]

Per the AFD on unreleased material at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Poppy unreleased discography:

  1. The end result was Delete, not Merge to this article.
  2. Reading through the individual responses, there was a consensus that all this unreleased stuff should not be added to this list. At least 3 editors specifically stated that the unreleased material should not be added without 2nd/3rd party sourcing. (Sergecross73, Richard3120, TheGracefulSlick) Additionally, the deletion nominator, Fram, explicitly stated he was against a merge at all, while Doomsdayer520 said they shouldn't be added without having their own notability, which would, in essence, require third party sourcing.

AlexanderHovanec - You may have proposed a merge in the discussion, but the consensus did not support this. Stop re-adding this this unsourced content into the article against consensus. Continuing to edit against the consensus is a blockable offense. Please stop. Sergecross73 msg me 19:26, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Probably shouldn't be added again, until the songs are written about (which they should be at some point). AlexanderHovanec, you did a great job on the list, and at least the songs are now listed in one place in the draft of the page. Nice work, and at some point they should be used. Thanks for your good work on this page and others. Randy Kryn (talk) 19:31, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Understood! :) Guess it's more trivial information anyways. -- AlexanderHovanec (talk) 20:14, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Trivial now but eventually notable. Randy Kryn (talk) 20:25, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I mean, maybe, but but you don't really know that for sure. Like what was said at the AFD discussion, it's not very often an artists unreleased work becomes notable unless you're talking about the decade-spanning superstars of the world. Sergecross73 msg me 20:37, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I Disagree (more)[edit]

I really think think "I Disagree (More)" should be listed as a reissue. It is an expanded version promoted months after the original album, with its own album cover and single to promote it. Here are a list of other albums that were even described as "deluxe editions" but still considered reissues: Dua Lipa: Complete Edition, Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection, Sunshine Kitty: Paw Prints Edition. I don't see how this project's release is any different from these other examples, which are all considered reissues.Gagaluv1 (talk) 17:41, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Mind Aid is not a single[edit]

Whoever keeps adding "Mind Aid" as a single, please stop. It is not a single. The link provided does not show it's a single, that's just an automatically uploaded video by YouTube's Create Music Group who uploaded every video by Poppy that has music in like this. This is another example of the CMG thing. Poppy has not promoted nor announced the song to be a single. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cold Alex (talkcontribs) 07:07, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
