The institution's Polish name, according to the Polish Wikipedia, is "Filharmonia Pomorska im. Ignacego Jana Paderewskiego w Bydgoszczy".

Formal Polish names of institutions tend to be long-winded.

If there is no other "Pomeranian Philharmonic" in Poland or in Germany, then "Pomeranian Philharmonic" should suffice as this English-language article's title.

If it is necessary to disambiguate the institution's name, then something like "Paderewski Pomeranian Philharmonic" or "Bydgoszcz Pomeranian Philharmonic" might do.

In any case, the article requires a thorough copyedit for English usage. For example, "obecna siedziba" is not "actual building" but "present building" or "current building".

There is a sensibly named "Szczecin Philharmonic", in West Pomeranian Province. Why not, as this article's title, "Bydgoszcz Philharmonic", analogously also to the New York Philharmonic, the London Philharmonic and the Berlin Philharmonic?

Pomeranian Philharmonic doesn't seem to be ambiguous, so this would be the most obvious title to me. It would also make sense to create a few redirects like Bydgoszcz Pilharmonic, Paderewski Philharmonic, etc. — Kpalion^(talk) 12:20, 8 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The going standard in English is either the name of the city or a country (in special circumstances), not a province: Oslo Philharmonic, Berlin Philharmonic ... or Slovak Philharmonic, National Philharmonic of Ukraine etc. We should follow the format for other Polish entries such as Kraków Philharmonic and Szczecin Philharmonic. An example of similar and improperly named article from Poland is Polish Baltic Philharmonic. BTW, the article in its current form – when compared to the GA London Philharmonic Orchestra article for example – resembles a dump-site created by some kind of middle school initiative. Please don't be a smart ass. "Polish Baltic Philharmonic" is a name given by ESL Wikipedians to Polska Filharmonia Bałtycka im. Fryderyka Chopina w Gdańsku. You perhaps may be unaware that Baltic isn't Polish either. Poeticbent talk 16:38, 10 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

English-language versions of the two philharmonics' websites use the following full names: Ignacy Jan Paderewski Pomeranian Philharmonic in Bydgoszcz and The Polish Baltic Frédéric Chopin Philharmonic. English-language press use, quite predictably, shortened versions of both names: "Pomeranian Philharmonic" [1] and "Polish Baltic Philharmonic".
