Errors in this page[edit]

I believe that this page has two errors.

First, the specs appear to be outdated. The version they started making in 2001 had 2 seats, a different weight and a different horsepower. See https://web.archive.org/web/20130801035703fw_/http://www.polarismotor.it/fib2001.htm and https://web.archive.org/web/20140217122609fw_/http://www.polarismotor.it/fib.htm

Second, the company appears to no longer exist. I think we should describe it in the past tense.

The last archived copy of the Polaris Motor website at archive.org was Feb 17 2014

Their YouTube page stopped getting updates five years ago:

On Mar 30 2014 the page became a "Sorry, new website under construction" page.

That page lasted until December 21, 2018.

On May 9 2019 the page was replaced with a 403 (Forbidden) page, which remains in place to this day.

Companies that claim to be selling similar products in 2022:

ALISEO: http://www.flying-boat.com/

AITTIME: https://airtimeamphib.com/

Interestingly, the Polaris Motor Flying Inflatable Boat lives on in Microsoft Flight Simulator!

Thanks for your post here. I have added text and refs to all four related articles, Polaris AM-FIB, Polaris FIB, Polaris Skin and Polaris Motor, indicting that the company is most likely out of business, changed tenses and dates, etc.
As far as the specs go, Wikipedia does not necessarily use the specs for the latest model or last model produced, but representative specs, often the first model or the most produced model. See Wikipedia:WikiProject Aircraft/page content#Aircraft specification. We are not a "company sales website", so we don't have a requirement to use the current or last model's specs. - Ahunt (talk) 14:41, 12 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
