To the IP User who Wrote and Added the History of PCCC[edit]

I reverted your edit because although you provided sources for it, they did not respect Wikipedia's use of footnote citations. Please adjust your references accordingly. Furthermore, though the history of PCCC is extremely detailed, I wonder if perhaps some of it lacks notability, take this excerpt for example: "The Pointe-Claire Canoe Club puts on a good showing at the provincial championships. The medallists include: Kerry Ritchie, Claudia Rochon, Marnie Brydon, Michèle Bousquet, Karine Haché, Erin Hall, Guylaine Saint-Georges, Madeleine Hall, Carol Mose, Lise Beaulieu and two female crews in war canoe with Éric Brault as their captain." Provincial championship medallists definitely don't need to be included in the history of PCCC. Finally, the use of "The Pointe-Claire Canoe Club puts on a good showing" is informal and subjective, and shouldn't in a Wikipedia article. Thank you for your contribution and I hope that with some adjustments it can be included in the PCCC article --Safmc (talk) 14:24, 14 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
