John Cranmer (May 17, 2005). "Here Comes Pod". Gay Times.
Podcast was a good article, but it was removed from the list as it no longer met the good article criteria at the time. There are suggestions below for improving the article. If you can improve it, please do; it may then be renominated.

The list of examples for fiction podcasts appears to be arbitrary and in violation of WP:LSC and WP:NPOV. Why were these particular podcasts selected and are there any reliable secondary sources grouping them together as examples of fiction podcasts? TipsyElephant (talk) 19:54, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@TipsyElephant – Stand-alone-lists are articles that are just a list (e.g. List of Linux distributions), and LSC doesn't really apply to this page per se. Also recommended to go read what WP:NPOV actually says – that doesn't apply in this particular instance either. Arbitrariness is not only perfectly fine and acceptable here, but also standard practice across the project. -- dsprc[talk] 09:42, 23 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
WP:PROPORTION states An article should not give undue weight to minor aspects of its subject but should strive to treat each aspect with a weight proportional to its treatment in the body of reliable, published material on the subject. Although WP:LSC is for stand-alond lists I think it's worth noting that it clearly states that we should Avoid original or arbitrary criteria that would synthesize a list that is not plainly verifiable in reliable sources. and an arbitrary or unsourced list of examples is not plainly verifiable as a group of fiction podcasts that are representative of fiction podcasts in general. WP:SOURCELIST which is for lists in general also states that Even if you're sure that an item is relevant to the list's topic, you must find a good source that verifies this knowledge before you add it to the list. Arbitrariness is not standard practice, the prose should summarize what reliable sources say rather than a random and unsourced selection. TipsyElephant (talk) 09:55, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I think maybe WP:NOR and WP:V are more appropriate here. I think the list should be verifiably representative of fiction podcasts rather than an unsourced list of someone's favorite shows. TipsyElephant (talk) 10:18, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's also worth noting that shows like The Joe Rogan Experience or Serial are discussed in reliable sources significantly more often and there are reliable sources that actually address these podcasts' impact or influence on podcasting as a whole. JRE isn't mentioned at all in this article and Serial is only mentioned in passing in an image caption. It seems like examples such as these should be expanded on rather than lesser known fiction podcasts with minimal reliable sources. TipsyElephant (talk) 12:41, 15 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
