What exactly is too technical?[edit]

Hi @FatalFit, you added the "too technical" banner without leaving any message on the talk page, where you say what exactly is the problem. These formula "only look complicated" but there is not much to explain to understand them. These formulas can be used to replace orthogonal polynomials. How one derives these formulas is an entirely different (and complicated) story, but most people don't have to understand this. Such formulas are asymptotic expansions.--Tensorproduct (talk) 20:15, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I placed the {{Complex}} tag on the article because at the time I believed that somebody unrelated in the topic wouldn’t be able to understand it. Normally this tag is placed on an article as a way of asking somebody to make the article simpler to understand, which you did and thank you for that. I didn’t do it myself as I didn’t know what the subject of the article was. Thanks! — FatalFit | ✉   20:27, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also, generally you don’t leave a message on the talk page for a maintenance tag unless you want to reach a consensus. FatalFit | ✉   20:28, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@FatalFit: Ok thanks for the reply. The article seems now to be stucked in Limbo and nobody reviews it. Would like to review it? I think it is an important article. --Tensorproduct (talk) 21:01, 14 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
