Why is this article up for speedy deletion? this band is awesome.
I don't know why somebody is trying to delete this page. I actually took the time to make this page about a really good band that i want people to know about and someone thinks it should be deleted. leave the page alone, there are tons of other band pages on this site, so what if they arent in the mainstream, they need a page!
- Comment The reason the band is listed for speedy deletion is that they don't meet the established criteria for notability for a band. Wikipedia is not here to provide publicity for a band to help them get noticed. Wikipedia is here to document bands (and anything else) that have already achieved notabilty. - Comment Dipics: Pistolita is currently touring on the Volcom Stage at Warped Tour (a highly respected national tour). Therefore they obviously meet notability criteria. You can see this at the Warped Tour website. Sdsuchelle 21:24, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
