The major microscope manufacturers (Nikon, Olympus, Leica, Zeiss) do not use Nicol prism polarisers nor have they for at least a couple of decades. I have no idea how this would be cited, but I know it to be true. 131.181.46.118 (talk) 04:52, 9 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
