"New upcoming project"[edit]

I would like to mention that we can't say in Peter Lindbergh's page : "A new upcoming project is an advert video shoot for Mariah Carey" because it is already outdated so it gives the page bad credit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Paomaw (talkcontribs) 15:37, 8 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Personal elements[edit]

A user recently added this material to the article:

Simon Brodbeck, was born during 1986 in Germany. With Simon working as an assistant to his father, the two have worked together since 2005.[1] Simon also is noted as an assistant to François-Marie Banier during 2004-2006. Simon collaborates with Lucie de Barbuat as well, and they were the winners of the HSBC Prize 2010, Prix HSBC pour la Photographie.[2]

While is has the proper refs, this part doesn't concern Peter Lindbergh but his son. If his son is worth mentioning, I think he should have his own Wikipedia page. if not, it's nonsensical to piggyback on his dad's page to grow his own fame.

Unexplained template removal[edit]

In three edits made within a few minutes on 14 September 2015, France Boulogne-billancourt Orange S.a. User:80.12.82.2 (contributions) removed six "citation needed" templates and one "where" template. Why? -- Hoary (talk) 23:52, 14 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Recent additions[edit]

Recent additions by SPA accounts have bloated the article with exhaustive lists, and unsourced detail - which violate multiple Wikipedia policies. I have removed some of the cruft, and await justification for the reinstatement of that information, assuming it is sourced. ScrpIronIV 21:18, 23 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Influence of non-fashion photographers[edit]

The reader is told:

Lindbergh introduced a form of new realism by redefining the standards of beauty, influenced by documentary photographers, street photographers and photojournalists like Dorothea Lange, Henri Cartier-Bresson and Garry Winogrand.

This is odd. Why is there no mention of photographers such as William Klein? Currently no source is cited; if a source can be found, will this say that Lindbergh was influenced by photojournalists etc as had been something of a fashion in fashion photography, or will it say that he was influenced by them in a different way from that of his predecessors? -- Hoary (talk) 11:54, 4 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
