Comments on article[edit]

  • I have no personal opinion on that, but the classification terrorist in the article title might become controversial.
  • Since I am not a subject matter expert, I didn't set the importance tag, but as a layman, I am somewhat doubtful with regard to notability.

I've since resolved these issues. MadMax 19:18, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The bodies of Peter Barnes and Richard McCormack were buried in the prison grounds and were not released until almost thirty years later (1969) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.244.254.224 (talk) 20:15, 30 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

The article references a book written by Peter Barnes, published in 1953. Is this another Peter Barnes, or a mistake? Kai A. Simon 19:07, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

According to www.worldcatlibraries.org the book in question was co-authored by Peter Barnes and Letitia Fairfield although Fairfield is credited as an editor in subsequent reprints. I assume this is the same author of related books such as Pawns: the Plight of the Citizen-soldier [1]. MadMax 19:18, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I looked up the reference, incl. the ISBN. There, only Fairchild is mentioned. I allowed myself to fix the ref.

Possible Error[edit]

Article says this - (both Brigid O'Hara and Brigid O'Hara issued statements between August 28 and September 4 to Scotland Yard and Birmingham police denying any knowledge of the bombings [4] and later provided evidence for the prosecution) - which I'm assuming is an error.
