I disagree with the suggestion to merge it with caste related violence.

Dalit atrocities are a very common reported event. The atrocities involve one-sided violence.

If you want to make this a full-fledged article, that's fine. But, still content related to anti-Dalit violence from Caste-related violence in India should be merged here. Caste-related violence in India can have a section on anti-Dalit violence, with a "Main article" link to this article. Also, this article should be renamed to something like Persecution of Dalits; "Dalit atrocities" is a confusing title -- it implies that the Dalits have committed these atrocities. utcursch | talk 14:07, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Redirecting[edit]

Hello

The content I added was totally unalike from how it was prior 2008.

2008 Version - https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Persecution_of_Dalits&oldid=235205811

My version - https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Persecution_of_Dalits&oldid=1025985639

The current version existed for five months and edited by others too. Can this be restored. @Bishonen: @CambridgeBayWeather: @Onel5969: Friendly Eagle (talk) 10:38, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Most recent Edit[edit]

I am concerned about this edit because it stripped out all of the history of the persecution of the Dalits. There were many pieces of information that had references. If the editor felt that the sources were bogus then that should be noted and the resources checked out. bobdog54 (talk) 20:25, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
