Consolidate info[edit]

As Perry Russo has no notability outside his involvement in the Shaw trial. I suggest creating a new article called "Persons related to the Shaw trial" or something to that effect, and merging this article into it along with the ones on Ferrie, Bannister, Martin, etc. Any opposition? Later life[edit]

The "Later life" section contained the following:

"Time magazine in a story on the Garrison case published in August 1968, referred to "Drug Addict Perry Russo", erroneously conflating him with another prosecution witness, Vernon Bundy.[14][15][16] Russo filed a defamation suit against the magazine, and received a $15,000 out of court settlement ($92,000 in 2007 dollars).[17]"

The first two references are to the article in TIME and the third is to Vernon Bundy's testimony acknowledging that he was a narcotic addict in 1963. The bit about "erroneously conflating him" is probably true but this would be OR in that it is not supported by those references. The fourth source is a conspiracy source stating that Russo said that in an interview (i.e. it is not a reliable source). (According to another account, Russo was said to have claimed the settlement was $1,500.[1]) I tried to fix this, but there are no other reliable sources stating that Russo was an addict and there are no reliable sources discussing a settlement.
