Should we remove the mention of Ukraine and Russia in the first paragraph?[edit]
Crimea is de facto part of the Russian Federation for almost a decade, and with the on-going war, Ukraine is still far from full recovering the region. My suggestion would be to mention Crimea, but add a note along the lines of "This region is contested by both Ukraine, which calls it Autonomous Republic of Crimea, and Russia, where the Republic of Crimea is a federal subject inside Russia.
