Bridgeboro was NOT a fictional town. There is, and was, a Bridgeboro, NJ. My father was born there and grew up reading Percy Keese Fitzhugh stories about his home town. He recently contacted Mr. Fitzhughs to inform him that the town of Brigeboro did, in fact, exist. It's a shame that even this article doesn't have the full story. Someone needs to change that - Bridgeboro exists! 65.127.8.242 (talk) 16:16, 7 July 2008 (UTC) Bridgeboro does exist, true. I have corrected the article to reflect this. However, the Bridgeboro of Fitzhugh's books is NOT the Bridgeboro your father grew up in. when doing my research for my book, Percy Keese Fitzhugh Boy Scout Author, I originally thought that Fitzhugh was refering to the real Bridgeboro, NJ. After some examination of maps from the area (both historic and current) I soon discovered that the Bridgeboro of the books was actually modeled after Hackensack, NJ. Subsequently I discovered among some letters written by PKF's wife, Harriett, conformation of that fact. When you say he recently contacted Mr. Fitzhugh, whom did he contact?
