National Register of Historic Places[edit]

User:Slambo has removed Category:Railway locomotives on the National Register of Historic Places from this article. I have replaced it. I would go further and add an NRHP infobox to this article.

The facts are straightforward. Toward the end of the life of the class, the PRR scrapped number 1737. Then, perhaps embarrassed, they renumbered 3750 as 1737. In 1964 1737 was nominated and accepted on the NRHP. The intention was, of course, to honor the first of the K4s, 1737. So why not include 1737 in the category and, as I suggest, add the NRHP infobox here? Certainly we should not ignore the fact, should we? . .
