John K. Thornton in his ''History of West Central Africa to 1850'' tells us some of Pedro III. I have tried yo incorporate some of this info. Thornton is pretty clear he does not believe that Manuel actually described himself as the bride for example. There may be other information in that work that would make this article better.John Pack Lambert (talk) 05:07, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
