Pearson plc - capitalisation of "plc"

There seems to be some debate whether the company is Pearson PLC or Pearson plc. If you look at page 114 of the Annual Report the auditors direct their report to the directors of Pearson plc (lower case). The Articles of Association also use lower case. I think this is definitive. I propose that the article name is changed to reflect this. Dormskirk (talk) 21:03, 17 March 2018 (UTC)

I see another editor has now moved the page. Many thanks. Dormskirk (talk) 10:19, 18 March 2018 (UTC)

Conversion from construction to publishing - no explanation

The company, was for over 80 years, building stuff. Then in 1925 it switched to books. That's a pretty big change of direction. Yet this article does not discuss the reasons for such an incredible business decision. This article tells us that it happened but not the reason why? 81.141.33.85 (talk) 11:33, 28 November 2018 (UTC)

  • I understand why and may take the time to explain but would have to gather sources supporting the account. Andrew D. (talk) 12:10, 28 November 2018 (UTC)
