Climate Chart[edit]

Is it possible to get the climate chart of Pathanamthitta? Although the sources say the maximum temperature can be upto 39°C, after living there for around 15 years, honestly I don't think the temperature goes beyond 32 or 33. For now the climate chart is that of Thiruvananthapuram, which I think is more or less the same for Pathanamthitta. - Mathew Joy (talk) 07:36, 20 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Disruptive edits[edit]

There are attempts by some IPs to force their un-sourced information in a way that is not suitable to for the integrity of the existing article. They remove existing cites and insert their own information. I’ve commented one of the edit (about some Kathakali club) mentioning to cite the source before un-commenting. After that, this is the second time they are reverting my reverts. I’ve signaled one of the revert as vandalism. I’m reverting it again, for a third time. If this is undone again, I guess some one, probably an administrator, have to look into these edits. Each revert is being done from a different IP. I’ve traced a couple of them from Maharashtra, using Tata indicom.

I've done a lot of work for this article to make into a B class, and would love to have it expanded and have it promoted to a FA. But I guess I am out of steam now, and would love if someone can take this further. I don’t understand why people would indulge in these kind of edits other than to promote self interests. I don’t also think they are acting in good faith. Otherwise why should they do these from IPs rather than logged-in users. They are good enough to go to the history and click undo, but can’t read or understand what Wikipedia is all about despite being told...not convincing enough. Wow...so when did guys from Cognizant start indulging in this kind of behavior. Please preserve sanity of your office. (Signed...Ex-Cognizantian) Mathew Joy (talk) 04:12, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • All references should atleast have titles, if not {{cite}} templates. Currently, there are only bare URL's without any information about the link

  • Once the Places of tourist interest is properly formatted and other section a bit copyedited, this article can be a candidate for B-class. Thanks, KensplanetTC 10:34, 22 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, John for you comments. Is there any helpful wiki links that discuss about formatting sections like Places of tourist interest? Or maybe what should and should not come in such sections. Mathew Joy (talk) 10:16, 24 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
