NPOV[edit]

  • Oppose. It appears to be fairly common for multiple incarnations of a show to be covered in a single article. If the article were larger, then splitting it could be more necessary; but its size seems manageable as it is, and having all the formats on one page helps the reader see how the game evolved over time.   • Support. Let's face facts, people. There are more than a few things in this article that need to be split. The article is too large, and the game shows should be separate from the game itself.   • Oppose for now. The article is not even long enough to come up as a warning when editing. I do not believe it to be that long. Also, if the article is split now, we will have a smaller article here, yes, but we will also have several new stubs that need work. WP has enough stubs as it is without purposely creating more through splitting. 1963 Theme Song[edit]

After checking the Game Show Invision board, the only mention of a name for Bob Cobert's theme name is "Frank's Theme." The GSN Board claims that the name is "You Know The Password." According to this website, there is no name, aside from what they have listed: "Password Theme" (66.131.4.133)

I put the NBC episode status on its own Super POassword and Password Plus page, is that ok?

I am watching the Sunday night Password show on 6/15/09/ I have never seen such a dumb celebrity in Jeff Galin in my life. Merger proposal[edit]

I propose that Password_(game) be merged into Password_(game_show). I think that the content in the Password_(game) article can easily be explained in the context of Password_(game_show), and the Password_(game_show) article is of a reasonable size in which the merging of Password_(game) will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. Why did you remove Alan Luddins Password show from he line up? It is my favorite Game show. I am very upset. Please put it back in the line up.

Running time[edit]

On the DVD set, the 1960s CBS prime-time episodes run about 25-26 minutes with ads removed (one or two very early episodes run 27 minutes, suggesting they were partially unsponsored...a few others do, but only because they have some live-on-tape commercials intact). The CBS daytime version runs about 22 minutes, but may have originally run 23 minutes (they are slightly edited). The final year of CBS 1960s prime-time was edited down to 22 minutes for syndication, but original ran 25 minutes. I do not know the running time of the ABC, NBC and 2000s-era CBS episodes....can anyone help on this area? Suddenly There Is a Valley (talk) 03:33, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
