Genre[edit]

I chaged the genre from Psychedelic rock to Progressive folk, like these sources say http://www.pinkfloydonline.com/discography/more/ and http://monkeybastardsv20.blogspot.com/2009/01/pink-floyd-lost-years_14.html What the others of wikipedians think? --Italodal (talk) 18:57, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's a bad choice. Furthermore, blogs are not reliable sources. Instead of just quoting what bloggers think, you should be stating why you think the existing genre is wrong or inadequate. --A Knight Who Says Ni (talk) 00:54, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest to change the genre of this music. This song is progressive, but its lack of elements of rock, so it can't be classified as Progressive rock. This song is too folk (it uses Tin Whistle) and I suggest to put Progressive folk in the genre. What do you guys think?--Italodal (talk) 22:06, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I prefer we use recognized genre names. Some people have created articles for every combination of adjectives they can think of, but that doesn't mean there is any such recognized genre called "progressive folk", and we should avoid that term. I think "rock" is flexible enough to include this track, so I'm in favour of the current genre. --A Knight Who Says Ni (talk) 09:17, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
