Baku[edit]

Kevo327,

Kevo, just saw discussion on the your talk page while writing you a message, and remembered that I read few books where it was mentioned that Baku is Paris. Here few sources for Paris of the East Baku. Here they are: 1, 2. Do you find them sufficient?

Regards,--Abrvagl (talk) 15:15, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Abrvagl, the first one says that this is a sentiment that Azerbaijanis hold (citing Rajabov, another Azerbaijani author), the author doesn't use it herself and in fact discredits it. The second one is an Azerbaijani travel guide, and thus not a WP:RS. These two are not sufficient to show that this is a valid term widely used for Baku. - Kevo327 (talk) 15:41, 19 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
