Origin of term[edit]

The article says that the word Paolo might be derived from the Latin word for small. It seems a whole lot more probable that the word paolo is just derived from the name Paolo, which is the Italian version of Paul. So wouldn't be more likely that it's called paolo because the first coins came out under the papacy of a pope named Paul? I'd change the article myself but I don't know if I'm right.JesuXPIPassio 01:33, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The definition was very strangely worded, after doing some minor changes I started getting hooked and linking the page up with other pages on wikipedia. Still fine-tuning the toc if anyone has any ideas. allitalien 03:24 EST, 17 January 2007
