Merger suggestion[edit]

There seems to be a lot of overlap between this article (which is about a magazine character) and Secret Service Operator 5 (which is about the magazine featuring the character). Could they be combined into one article? 84.71.226.126 19:26, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merging[edit]

Since no-one has said or done anything about the above suggestion, I'm going to merge Secret Service Operator 5 into this article. Starting ... now. Smalljim 22:28, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can you believe it?[edit]

Quote : This article or section does not adequately cite its references or sources. Duh! Read the article. Anyone with an ounce of brains could see that it comes from the original pulp magazines. How do you get anything through to the wiki people? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.9.55.5 (talkcontribs) 16:19, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Split out the magazine article[edit]

I see the magazine article was merged with this article nearly fifteen years ago. I'd like to split the magazine article out again -- for the hero pulps I think it makes the most sense to have one article focus on the magazine itself, with the publishing history and so forth, and the character article focus on the fictional creation. Pinging Smalljim since they performed the merge back in 2007. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 22:25, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Well that certainly does appear to be me doing that merge all those years ago! I have no recollection of it and it's not my sphere of interest at all, so I assume I was just helping with some backlog. Does that help?  —SMALLJIM  00:00, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, not really fair to ask you for your motivation after fifteen years, is it? I'll go ahead with the split, then. Thanks! Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 00:23, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The split is done. Mike Christie (talk - contribs - library) 12:33, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
