"Scipione Africano escorted the corvette Baionetta in her task of transporting the new head of government General Pietro Badoglio, his cabinet and the Italian Royal Family from Brindisi to Malta."

Scipione Africano"escorted Baionetta with General Badoglio, the King an his family from Pescara to Brindisi. General Pietro Badoglio certainly went to Malta from Brindisi to sign the "Armistizio Lungo",but the King (much less his family) never went to Malta. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2.235.223.236 (talk) 18:54, 30 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

mt?[edit]

"spotted four small vessels lying 10,000 mt ahead". Should this be km? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.95.56.66 (talk) 17:44, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

CE[edit]

Tidied citations and a few typos. Regards Keith-264 (talk) 15:38, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Begun restructuring the article which has left a few 3rd level headers dangling but at least one other header will be added later. Regards Keith-264 (talk) 13:28, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@DagosNavy: Do you think that we need all of the citations in the text? It seems a bit excessive to me. Regards Keith-264 (talk) 18:04, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Keith-264: I've already removed a couple of citations of Monarca, I beleived the only interesting part of her article is the mention of Badoglio's rescue. Andó and Baroni are however esencial to source the use of the EC-3 ter in this action. Pellegrini's article (no longer online) contains the more detailed account of the engagement. Best Regards. Quite agree, it makes a nice change for the Italians to have their say. Regards Keith-264 (talk) 20:50, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Are the biblio details for Andò accurate? I can't find a copy on [1] Bookfinder (paradoxically). regards Keith-264 (talk) 21:01, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
There seems to be some problems with the ISBN number, this Italian bookshop apparently gives the same ISBN. --Darius (talk) 22:36, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I saved the situation by adding a link to Amazon's ASIN page.--Darius (talk) 23:50, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Left a message on the Italian task force requesting that they assess the article, milhist already has it at B class (!) Keith-264 (talk) 19:16, 1 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Good job as usual Keith. Cheers!--Darius (talk) 12:29, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the review but might you have a conflict of interest in this article? Regards Keith-264 (talk) 15:32, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Not at all, Keith, the current version of the article is fine for me. Darius (talk) 16:03, 2 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
