TierraWiki link

Can anyone see a good reason for having this in the "See Also" section? The project doesn't have the same aims as OSM (map the planet versus record some hiking trails), isn't open content licensed (and is therefore incompatible with OSM) and only has a single technical component in common (it uses GPX files).

There are TierraWiki external links on quite a few WP pages with only a tenuous connection -- are they link spammers, perhaps?

If no-one objects, I'll remove this link (again) in five days.

Why is an external link in the See also section, anyway? Lurker (said · done) 12:41, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
I've removed it. There seem to be a lot of links to TierraWiki on Wikipedia, and their article was deleted twice. Lurker (said · done) 12:59, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

New licence for OSM?

"OpenStreetMap data is published using a Creative Commons 2.0 license. A new license is being prepared."

A CC license is ambiguous, that should state CC-SA 2.0 specifically, and does a new license is being prepared mean that the project is upgrading to CC-SA 3.0? --Ævar Arnfjörð Bjarmason 16:55, 27 July 2008 (UTC)
I added the ref from the lead to the section you meant, to clarify. As I'm not too much of an expert on Creative Commons, and don't really have the time to become one now, I'm sure that the licensing could use additional clarification.— Ewald (talk|email|contrib) 07:02, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Outdated header image?

The header image is old and should be replaced. The map style has changed massively since the header image was made (see [1]). 78.52.132.163 (talk) 18:19, 10 April 2016 (UTC)

Done Hi, thanks for bringing it up. Assuming you meant the map of Cambridge in the infobox, I've updated it with a fresh one. I tried to capture the same area, though I didn't get the same zoom level. Please let me know if there are any issues with it, and in the future don't hesitate to rectify the situation yourself, All you have to do on the website is click the share menu and there are a bunch of options.
