I have this album and it is most definitely titled as "Jonny 5 and Yak." —Preceding unsigned comment added by 156.77.108.70 (talk) 11:19, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why does it say that the artist is Flobots? As far as I know the credited artist in the album is "Jonny 5 + Yak". I changed the artist on the right of the page (dont know what its called) but im not sure what is to be done for the actual article. (I also made a redirect page for "Jonny 5 + Yak" which seemed appropriate." Xali (talk) 03:18, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! This is Farhad Ebrahimi a.k.a. Yak/Yahktoe/etc. I wanted to clarify that Onomatopoeia was not a proper Flobots album, as it was a side project involving only Jamie and me. I've posted something similar on the Flobots discussion page.

Apologies in advance for my ignorance of wikipedia posting protocol! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.6.158.97 (talk) 02:51, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Tracks 14 - 21: hidden data?[edit]

It seems a bit odd that the cd has so many blank tracks: would this not cost more to burn to cd? Someone needs to rip these tracks and check for any stenographic techniques. 88.104.17.194 (talk) 21:10, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Farhad a.k.a. Yak here again. We used blank tracks as a way of "hiding" the reprise of Simulacra (i.e. the "Bonus Track"). Yup, people really used to do that kind of thing before everybody had an iPod. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.6.158.97 (talk) 02:55, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is not a Flobots album[edit]

Yak here once again. This album is not a Flobots album! We included "www.Flobots.com" in the album artwork because Onomatopoeia was a side project that we didn't really feel warranted its own URL. I would love to site sources for this, but the Flobots weren't really big enough to generate much press in those days, let alone their one-off side projects. If anybody has any ideas what I can do to fit my first-hand information into wikipedia's rules and regulations, I'd love to hear it! Thanks.

I will agree with the previous statement. The information should be modified to represent the original artists. Although I am not familiar with album formatting, I recommend that another editor change this.Jackson Peebles (talk) 02:20, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

From Flobots' Facebook: "Is Onomatopoeia the first Flobots album?

Our official answer is this (Wikipedians take note!) The first Flobots RELEASE was the Platypus EP, the first ALBUM is Fight With Tools, and Onomatopoeia is a PRE FLOBOTS PROJECT by Jonny 5 (and Yak)." — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.57.96.232 (talk) 16:10, 8 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yak I would like to ask who the other rappers were on the album and why they seem to not exist other than on the album?
