Compound time?[edit]

Where's the compound time that the article states the song is written in? I've listened to both The Cookies' and The Crystals' versions, and they're both in regular 4/4. 217.209.209.74 (talk) 07:18, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Categories[edit]

I'm removing the Sly and the Family Stone songs category because the band never released or recorded it. It was recorded by Sly and appears on the Precious Stone: In The Studio With Sly Stone 1963-1965 compilation released by Ace in 1994 *. Sly demoed the song a good year and a half at least before Sly & The Family Stone was formed. Correct me if I'm wrong but just because Sly demoed it, doesn't mean it should be classed as a song for the band. Karl Twist (talk) 09:33, 27 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Missing cover version[edit]

Neil Young also covred the song for his 1989 album "Freedom." 2003:E8:EF04:BE1A:C917:9910:515C:266A (talk) 20:12, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The guideline WP:SONGCOVER sets a high bar to inclusion. At the very least you would need to find a published source saying something special about his cover version. Binksternet (talk) 20:20, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also, "Canadian musician Neil Young"? He's only lived in the U.S. for three quarters of his life and is a dual citizen; all of his children were raised in the U.S. 98.169.209.11 (talk) 02:28, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
