I belive that the way in which this article ollerton and boughton refers to the Dialect of the area is not wholly true and does not give a fair representation of the 'dialect' of the whole area and could possibly be seen as derogatory and this is why i request for my deletion. The idea of the phonetic pronunciation of the town names particularly, is neither 'fact' or 'fair' to the residents of either Ollerton or boughton, and although the name of boughton does have a strange pronunciation (boot-on)the way the publisher describes this may only be used by very few 'long toothed' residents. --DAB04 (talk) 22:28, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}} info box??

You want {{Infobox settlement}} take a look at that one and copy the basic empty syntax into the lead and try to fill as many fields as you can, and delete any unused ones. -Optigan13 (talk) 23:42, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The prose mentioning "New Ollerton: A name first used in the latter part of the nineteenth century to refer to the slowly growing expansion of the village between Ollerton Manor and where the New Plough public house and cemetery lie" appears to be too-vague OR and Synth, and is only cited by an unreadable (low res) historic map.

This source I have cited at Ollerton specifically states the Plough was built in 1926. 82.13.47.210 (talk) 21:18, 1 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
