Elvis/Nixon photo[edit]

The picture of Nixon and Elvis looks to me very fishy. Nixon, and the flags, and the ornaments, indeed everything except Elvis, is grey-and-white. But Elvis is black-and-white. It looks as if Elvis has been photo-shopped in from a different picture with higher contrast.. Even fakery would not explain why Elvis is in higher contrast than the rest of the picture. A faker, however incompetent, would have reduced the contrast on the Elvis image before splicing it in. Can an experienced photographer please comment? Maproom (talk) 22:20, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

So you're honestly going to claim that the National Archives are part of a giant conspiracy to photoshop Elvis and Nixon meeting? -- Esemono (talk) 23:36, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, I am convinced. Thank you for posting the images. So Elvis had a black jacket and black hair, while Nixon had a pale suit, grey hair, and his room had pale furnishings. Maproom (talk) 11:39, 13 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
