Proposal to rename[edit]

The castle is called Old Castle Lachlan as it refers to the seat of the clan Lachlan. See also the references used in the article itself. Therefore I would like to propose to change the name of the article. Any thoughts? Kind regards, Otter (talk) 10:14, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I am willing to go with the references. However one of the references refers to it is Castle Lachlan and the other as Lachlan Castle.QuintusPetillius (talk) 13:45, 27 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You mean the Historic Scotland reference? The legal document attached on their website states Castle Lachlan as well. On CANMORE the castle is also called Castle Lachlan (with Old Castle Lachlan as alternative title, and without Lachlan Castle) and the website of The Lachlan Trust refers to the castle in their care as Old Castle Lachlan.
