Hi Renata and CorinneSD. Thank you very much for your kind words. Unfortunately I have been extremely busy in the real life and last two weeks I was even away from the access to Internet. I agree that the article is in the good shape (thank you both – it is only due to your extremely valuable feedback and assistance!) and I certainly plan to take it to FA. However, I wonder if it still needs some fine-tuning. I still wonder if it is possible to implement some more suggestions made by Renata. Martin Saarnak[edit]

An editor marked this source by Martin Saarnak as unreliable. While it is true that self-published sources are largely not acceptable as reliable sources, there is exception concerning self-published expert sources, which may be considered reliable when produced by an established subject-matter expert, whose work in the relevant field has previously been published by reliable, independent publications. Martin Saarnak fully satisfies this criteria. Therefore, this source should be considered as reliable. However, as this page as changed its status to invited readers only, and there are other sources in this article supporting information, I will remove that source for now. Phase out?[edit]

Hello Beagel

The article says:

"The government coalition of Estonia has decided that Estonia will stop shale oil extraction by 2040 at the latest."

but you wrote in a comment

"there is no plan to stop shale oil production"

So I am a bit confused - is that not a contradiction?

Hello Beagel, I have included citations from the IEA's 2023 energy policy review, affirming Estonia's transition towards renewables and its commitment to reduce reliance on oil shale.
