This article is very well written, well research, and quite interesting. I believe it meets the six aspects of the Good Article criteria, and can be listed.
Prose Very well written, with a few minor issues that were easier to fix myself. Might want to go through an additional round of copyediting before a WP:FAC, to iron things out a bit more. But overall, the prose is very good.
Factually accurate The article is sufficiently referenced with ample inline citations. The citations meet WP:RS. There are no issues here.
Broad in coverage Covers all of the major aspects that an article about a biological organism (a genus in this case, not a species) should have; taxonomy, distribution/habitat, basic description of the organism, reproductive behavior, feeding, environmental issues.
It is written from a neutral point of view.
There are no major edit wars. Most of the editing was done by Jimfbleak (talk · contribs) and Snowmanradio (talk · contribs). Good work!
The images are useful, add to the article, and have appropriate copyright tags.
