This image looks remarkably *not* like the images that are seen in Ref #2 last link. I recognize that this photo would be taken from the rear of the building rather than the front; however, unless huge portions of the original structure have been removed, which would be unlikely while still giving a contiguous surface, this looks more like it's a rebuild, perhaps using the original front of the building which is not included in the photo currently in the article. The bays at the side of the building, seen on the earlier photos, don't exist here. The roof level is different and suggests the complete removal of an upper storey. That seems to be exactly what happened, actually. I asked UpstateNYer if, if possible, we could get a picture of the same facade to see what's left (however, as noted it's a drug rehab center and those institutions are not known for letting people casually poke around and take pictures, so we'd have to talk to them). Arguably, the changes to the building might be enough to justify a delisting from the Register, if the front facade has been altered to the same extent as the rest of the building.
