Museveni's birthplace[edit]

If the districts in Uganda are named for the principle city was Museveni born in the city of Ntumgamo or in another city in the district? *Exeunt* Ganymead | Dialogue? 02:16, 19 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Ntungamo is really not a city, its a small town, and the largest municipality in the district. That he was born in Ntungamo district is probably the closest we can get (someone has done good work figuring this out. See the footnote #2 in his article). It is often said that his father Amos Kaguta was a cattle keeper, so my guess is that he was born in a rural village somewhere in Ntungamo district.--Ezeu 02:46, 19 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
