There is also an Oyster Festival in Milford, Connecticut. Either there should be a disambiguation page, or an article made for that festival, and then labeling this article either Oyster Festival (Norwalk) or Norwalk Oyster Festival. BobbyCat 21:11, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The top line of this article should already say "This article is about the festival in the United States. For other oyster festivals, see Oyster Festival (disambiguation)." and you should find that the Milford festival is mentioned on it. Therefore the disambig page is already there, however I personally think that "Oyster Festival" should go straight to the disambig page and not default to the Norwalk festival.
If you wish to rename the current article to "Norwalk Oyster Festival" and then redirect "Oyster Festival" to the disambig page then I would definately support this. GQsm 04:39, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've moved the Norwalk Oyster Festival to its own page and put the old disambig page here with a short definition. Mangoe 15:34, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Oysterfestival.jpg had been deleted[edit]

I have asked the person who deleted the mage to restore it. One reason cited for deleting it was that it was not being used. It was being used in this article though. 67.86.73.252 (talk) 04:51, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

On http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3ALog&type=delete&user=&page=Image%3AOysterfestival.jpg we see that User:East718 deleted the image citing "(CSD I5: Non-free image that was not used for more than seven days)" that was done at a time after Special:Contributions/67.87.117.220 had altered the page so as to change only the name of the image to be an incorrect redlink. Note that misspelling the logo name was the only conribution to wikipedia made by 67.87.117.220. 67.86.73.252 (talk) 13:38, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The image has been restored. I am really fond of the appearence of the logo in this article (it brightens it up, incorporates a picture of an oyster in a clever way, ... etc). Thanks to User:East718 for the file restoraton and to User:Nationalparks for the upload of the low resolution logo whose appearance I am so fond of. 67.86.73.252 (talk) 01:32, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
