Please follow the link to sunningdale agreement - which was signed end of 1973 and implemented in 1974 -so the unionists could not have left the UK conservatives over it in 1972. My recollection it was in protest at direct rule, and abolition of stormont. 82.43.151.111 (talk) 07:48, 21 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

1972-4[edit]

Given that Robin Chichester-Clark was a UK minister of state (for employment) in the Heath government after 1972, he would presumably have taken the Conservative whip.--Rumping (talk) 14:04, 14 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Northern Ireland Conservatives - Eurosceptic - evidence?[edit]

Can't find any evidence to support the claim in the info box that the party is Eurosceptic. Helper201 (talk) 16:48, 2 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

They're a member of the ECR a European eurosceptiC political party.Apollo The Logician (talk) 16:58, 2 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Again, I see no evidence. If you are referring to the old electoral alliance the party used to be part of - Ulster Conservatives and Unionists - that ended five years ago and as such does not reflect the current affiliation of the party. Helper201 (talk) 00:09, 4 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
